This handmade ceramic bud vase is crafted with care in Maine. Its simple but beautiful rustic design makes it useful for shelf styling and holding fresh or dried flowers.

It features a unique finish that blends earthy tones — not quite black, not quite brown — that feel natural and grounded. The rustic, beautifully tactile surface is accented with a handful of glistening speckles that gently catch the light in a way that feels understated and elegant. A unique artisan piece.
Because each bud vase is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, and color are to be expected. These natural differences are not imperfections but a reflection of the unique and one of a kind character of each piece.
Each bud vase is made by hand from black clay and finished with a hand applied glaze and technique, creating a one of a kind piece with its own warmth and character. Fired at a minimum 2167°F, it’s designed to be both durable and beautiful for everyday use.
Your bud vase will arrive carefully packaged in beautiful, eco-friendly packaging, ready to use or give as a thoughtful gift. The bottom of the vase is carefully polished before packaging to ensure it is gentle on surfaces.

Each piece is designed and hand-built in our studio in Maine with care and attention to detail. Carefully crafted through a meticulous process: we bisque fire the clay, apply glazes by hand, and fire again at a minimum of 2167°F in our in-studio kiln.
All of our ceramics are made with lead-free, food-safe glazes and are both microwave and dishwasher safe. However, for the best care and to keep them in great condition, we recommend handwashing whenever possible.
