Create a beautiful setting for both everyday use and special occasions with our wabi-sabi inspired, Legacy Dinnerware Plates in our signature glaze, Rustic Espresso. Each plate is made and glazed by hand in our cottage studio in Maine.
Rustic Espresso is a deep brown, almost black finish with soft, warm brown undertones coming through for a warm and elegant feel.

The small plate is ideal for desserts, snacks, or serving small bites. The Medium plate is ideal for salads, appetizers, or light meals. The Everyday Plate is great for daily meals and main courses, fitting a balanced portion of protein, grains, and vegetables.

Our ceramics are made with lead-free, food-safe glazes and are both microwave and dishwasher safe. However, for the best care and to keep them in great condition, we recommend handwashing whenever possible.
Each plate is made by hand from black clay and finished with a hand applied glaze, creating a one of a kind piece with its own warmth and character. Fired at a minimum 2167°F, it’s designed to be both durable and beautiful for everyday use.
Your plates will arrive carefully packaged in beautiful, eco-friendly packaging, ready to use or give as a thoughtful gift. The bottom of each plate is carefully polished before packaging to ensure it is gentle on surfaces.
Because each plate is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, and color are to be expected. These natural differences are not imperfections but a reflection of the unique and one of a kind character of each plate.
All orders are carefully packaged using beautiful, eco-friendly materials. Products that are in-stock and ready to ship are sent out within 1-7 business days, while made to order products typically ship within 2-3 weeks.
